Separating professional time and personal time and not letting the two mingle. When I get mad at the colleague side, I have to keep that away from the boyfriend side. I bring this up, because he and I are collaborating on a piece (he’s premiering my latest vocal work) and we got into an argument when he started fiercely suggesting changes to it.
