Hamlet - The Ghost/Internal Dissonance
Sound option for an upcoming production of Hamlet. This is for the ghost when he is mentioned or not in direct contact with the other characters. It is also a tie into Hamlet. For me, it reflects the lack of balance in Hamlet’s mind and how confused he is by the presence of his father’s echo.
It was created by bowing an A# crotale, then constantly re-focusing the sound. This was then adjusted by pitch and stereo panning.
